While I’m at it …
I may as well comment on Australia’s Q3/07 online market too, from the IAB Australia report which was out last week. Online advertising across the ditch grew by 32% in Q3 compared to the same quarter in 2006, reaching a record total of A$347m. The Aussie IAB reckons the market size will reach $1.4B for the full 2007 calendar year. In the past three years that market grew by an average of 60% per year but there are predictions the boom days are over.
Interestingly Finance, Computers & Communications and Motor Vehicles dominate general display advertising comprising over 50% of display adspend whereas in NZ, Travel & Accommodation leads the category list in this quarter.
